CITYLIKEYOU – Sean Pecknold (Portland)

One of our latest additions to Citylikeyou is from director and artist, Sean Pecknold. Pecknold has created music videos and commercials for the likes of Fleet Foxes, Beach House, and the New York Times. On the road is where he feels the most at home. He grew up in Seattle, spent some time living in New York, and now splits it between Portland and Los Angeles. See Sean’s selections of places for Citylikeyou here.

Sam Mason is a self taught animator who became interested in animation while touring as a drummer in a band. Mason has directed two films in a trilogy called Wild Robot which reference the kitsch, surreal world of 1970s sci-fi and fantasy, using miniature sets and textural CG. read more
