Caio Fonseca

Caio Fonseca, American, born 1959, was raised in New York City. In 1978 he went to Barcelona where he studied and painted until 1983. He moved to Pietrasanta (Lucca) in 1985 where he worked until 1989. After two years in Paris, he returned to New York and now divides his time between Pietrasanta and his studio in Manhattan on East Fifth Street. His works are held in numerous public and private collections in Europe and the United States. read more
Sarah Mei Herman

Sarah Mei Herman was born in Amsterdam in 1980. After studying Philosophy for one year, she studied Photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Art in The Hague, from which she received her BA in 2005. In June 2010 she completed her MA in Fine Art Photography at The Royal College of Art in London.

FRIEND & Rough Trade are screening music videos by LA-based directing duo Focus Creeps at Rough Trade East tomorrow from 7-9PM. Having just finished promos for Django Django and Arctic Monkeys, these guys are truly one of the most exciting directors out there. Accompanied by NTS Radio Djs, this is sure to be a great evening.

Peter van Agtmael – American Interiors

Peter van Agtmael (b. 1981) graduated from Yale University in 2003 with a degree in History. Following graduation, he spent a year in China on the Charles P. Howland fellowship photographing the effects of the Three Gorges Dam. He became a freelance photographer at the end of 2004. read more
