Lukas Wassmann

Born in Zurich, Switzerland in 1980 Lukas Wassmann trained as carpenter 1996-1999 in a small town in switzerland before assisting different photographers in Milan, Zurich and New York. In 2003 Lukas attended a proffesional course at FAS Berlin Photography School by Prof. Arno Fischer and studied at the Zurich University of Arts in the Photography department from 2003 to 2006. Currently he lives and works in Berlin and Zurich.

Daft Punk – Derezzed

‘Derezzed’ is taken from the Daft Punk soundtrack to the forthcoming Disney move TRON. This music video was designed, conceived and created entirely by Warren Fu and The Mill; only the first 2 shots are actual movie footage.

David Jien drawings depict a vertiginous temporal reality, alternating between the dawn of a folkloric world when mythological creatures still walked amongst men, and an unknown future in which aliens have finally reached contact. There is an overarching sense of fantasy, of going There and Back Again on an episodic quest. “My drawings are about a alternate reality, based on real life experiences. Siobhan McClure – The Tale of Pearl

Siobhan McClure is a Irish born, Los Angeles based artist. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 1994 with an MFA in Drawing and Painting. McClure’s paintings have been exhibited since 1994 all over California and in both Spain and Ireland. The Tale of Pearl is her first solo show at Richard Heller Gallery. read more

Christian Faur

Christian Faur painstakingly casts hundreds, even thousands of encaustic crayons to create his ‘pointillist’ portraits based on vintage photographs from the 1930’s. By using the pointed ends of the variously colored crayons to make the features and color modulations in the faces and backgrounds, the works look from afar pixilated and contemporary. Close up, a matrix of colors emerge, as the identity, which is lost to begin with, is completely lost. read more

Clinic- Bubblegum

Trunk Animation’s directing duo Alasdair + Jock have just completed the latest video for Clinic’s Bubblegum the second track on their sixth album also called Bubblegum. The duo created their own subversive take on the classic fairytale; playing on genres and clichés and throwing in subtle twists and nods to other filmic references.
