Catherine Wakim was raised in São Paulo, Porto, Fortaleza, and Vermont. She works in the different areas of graphic design, studio production, web/editorial design and visual arts. Her work has been released for both commercial and independent purposes, primarily based in material culture and publications. She is a graduate of the B.F.A Design Program at Concordia University.

José Garcia Montebravo

After a long illness, Cuban artist José Garcia Montebravo died last friday the 16th of July at home in the town of Cienfuegos. Many of his paintings depict birds, animals and the lush Cuban plant life but with a strength which suggests an allegorical or religious symbolism as well. He has exhibited individually and collectively, in Europe and the United States as well as in Cuba. read more

German designer and programmer Matthias Dörfelt recently created this unofficial music video for Metope, a Berlin-based techno producer.”My personal goal was to program the whole video myself, but instead of ending up with some sort of visualizer I decided to add a “storyline” which should reflect the characteristics of the song. I used c++ together with openGL and many GLSL shaders to achieve the look of the video.” Matthias Dörfelt
