Amy Bennett constructs a large diorama in her studio, and within this landscape, she creates several scenes. Placing it before her as if painting a still life, she produces her paintings. Reminding one of a folktale, the paintings’ charm is full of beautiful light and an air of mystery.

Jeff Ladouceur was born in 1975 on Vancouver Island. He is a self-taught artist, living and working in New York and Canada. His work consists primarily of ink, pencil, acrylic and a feeling for cartoonified line. His condensed, delicate renderings intertwine the mystic with the mundane and seem to draw upon certain visual references ( from 1930’s hack animation to William Blake). read more

On an August morning in 1976, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit.
Still looks Breathtakingly amazing as the first time I watched it!

Record Club is an informal meeting of various musicians to record an album in a day. The album chosen to be reinterpreted is used as a framework. Nothing is rehearsed or arranged ahead of time. There is no intention to ‘add to’ the original work or attempt to recreate the power of the original recording. Only to play music and document what happens. Nice!

Danish installation artist Tom Bendtsen started creating these ‘book sculptures’ called Arguments in the late 90’s. Here is Bendtsen’s explanation behind the pieces: “These towers are an attempt to make physical the Argument.
