Born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1951, Michal Ronnen Safdie was educated in the fields of sociology and anthropology at the Hebrew University and Brandeis University. Initially she took up architectural photography, specializing in architectural models photographed in studio settings as well as on location buildings. Image shown here is from the series Ice.

We, The Masses is a short animated film based on the artwork of Robyn O’Neil. The film was conceived of at Werner Herzog’s Rogue Film School and funded by the Frameworks scheme with the support of the Irish Film Board, RTE and The Arts Council of Ireland. Directed by Eoghan Kidney.

Born in 1977 in France, Alexandre Joly lives and works in Geneva. He studied at Geneva University of Art and Design where he took his postgraduate degree in 2003. His works have been exhibited in Switzerland, France and Germany, and he has received a number of prizes and artist residency grants.
