Directed by Karni & Saul the short film Turning was commisioned by BBC last year and finished just now, it will hit festivals all around the world this year.

From Danish glass artist Lene Bødker’s studio, a converted gasworks wonders of sheer beauty are coming to life. Hollow blown vessels to patterned organic shapes undertake at least a work period of two months to create. Bødker has recently shown her pieces at the fine art fair TEFAF in Maastricht.
Before anyone even has had the chance to own an Ipad its already been passed on the inside by the WePad. German technology company Neofonie‘s WePad is in many ways superior to the Ipad with its 11,6″ screen and a resolution of 1366×768 px compared to Ipads 9,7″ and 1024×768 px. These sculptures are made from 2 over the counter ‘Dancing Stands’ (the tacky kinetic product display stands you can often see in down market stores) which have been modified to spin at slightly different speeds. When the modified stands are placed next to each other they go in and out of phase about every 4 minutes. Artist Cory Arcangel first showed a version of these sculptures his show “Creative Pursuits” at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.
