Ben Branagan is an artist, originally from London and now based on the south coast of the UK. Working across a range of different mediums and materials, from cast stone and paper pulp to moving image and sound, his work is a celebration of transformation and change; of disintegration and regeneration. At its core this practice is focused around an expanded idea of collage; a pulling apart and bringing together of things. Sorting, sifting and reconfiguring the residues and echoes that surround us to construct new forms, narratives and feeling for a world in flux.
