Chantal, a chubby girl of twelve, is having a hard time finding her way through life. She doesn’t have a lot of friends, and at home she can only turn to her stepfather for support as she doesn’t get along with her mother or stepbrother. Only in the local pool, where she is training intensively for an upcoming swimming competition, does she truly feel at home. Directed by Wannes Destoop.

Over almost two decades he has used the body as a site of exploration producing a series of works positioned between film, performance, the visual, and the sonic. Warnell has collaborated widely with a range of contributors: both individuals and organisations, shaping works intuitively, traversing disciplines and exploring the circumstances of co-production.

We are pleased to announce our second screening curated by Danish director Jeppe Kolstrup. Mr. Kolstrup was born in the Disco Bay, Greenland in 1983 and spend his childhood in a little village in the middle of Jutland, Denmark. Since then Kolstrup has directed various music videos and short films. Currently in the works is a promo for Danish artist Falluha. read more
