Jacob Sutton’s L.E.D. Surfer

Nowness recently commissioned fashion photographer and filmmaker Jacob Sutton to make a skiing film. The film was shot on the slopes of Tignes in the Rhône-Alpes region of south-eastern France, starring Artec pro snowboarder William Hughes wearing a bespoke L.E.D.-enveloped suit designed by John Spatcher.

Konstantinos Menelaou is an art and film director working mainly with video and film. Menelaou moved from Greece to London in 2001 where he still lives and works. In September 2009 he completed his MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martin’s College and since then he has been working on his video artworks, short films and fashion projects and has collaborated with innovative fashion designers and artists. read more

Pecknold has created music videos and commercials for the likes of Fleet Foxes, Beach House, and the New York Times. On the road is where he feels the most at home. He grew up in Seattle, spent some time living in New York, and now splits it between Portland and Los Angeles. See Sean’s selections of places for Citylikeyou here.
