The exploration of loss is a central motif underlying Noé Sendas repertoire. Employing a variety of references, explicit or implicit quotations from artistic, literary, cinematic and musical sources are part of his raw materials. Sendas’ work explores the theoretical and material constructs of the body, the observer’s perception mechanisms and the discursive potential of exhibition methods. Noé Sendas lives and works in Berlin and Madrid.
