The genre-juxtaposing, emerging fine art photographer Nico Krijno has a very clean and timeless, measured and minimalistic style, eschewing the super-glossy perfection so typical of the genre. He works between Cape Town and London. He is creating images that are softly erotic, humanly delicate, and deeply intimate. Capturing the raw hedonistic essence of youth and sexuality. His work follows the similarities between our environment and the human body closely; celebrating the beautiful interconnectedness of all things, ceding control and responding intuitively to his surroundings. He is less interested in rigid ideas & theories than in pursuing a way of looking at the world that is primarily emotional, impulsive & spontaneous.
