A born collector from South of Spain, Antonio Marguet first started ‘camera snapping’ as stylist. As visual artist based in London for more than 14 years and with a background in Fine Art, he brings together a range of interdisciplinary skills. ‘Frictions’ between materials and objects that operate on different levels is a constant through his practice. His narratives tackle and celebrate the absurd. In his work, absurdity gets a density that below the surface holds a profound realm of being.
Other Criteria will exhibit works by Antonio Marguet at the Hinde Street store. The exhibition titled ‘Exotic Juicy Tutti Frutti’, will be on display in the Photography Room, a space on the lower ground floor dedicated to photography.
