Karolina Sobecka’s work is interactive and playful in various ways and her latest piece, named ‘Sniff’, is truly inspiring. Placed on a storefront display in Brooklyn, a projection of a CG Dog interacts with people passing by, reacting to their movements and behaviours. In a similar way, her piece ‘Wildlife’ has a tiger being projected onto buildings from a car that’s moving in different speeds. The tiger is programmed to reflect the speed of the car in the pace and the way that it moves, accelerating or decreasing, depending on the the driver and the car. You can watch this video and others on Karolina’s Vimeo account. For you that wants to see the dog live, the installation will be up at The Chang You Want To See storefront, september 17-20th (after dark) 84 Havemeyer Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211
