The video shoot took place on a small farm in Jeollabuk-do province, South Korea in February 2011. The storyline was conceived in response to the song lyrics which tell of an unrequited love or a longing that can’t be satisfied or consummated. Directed by Nils Clauss.

Nine Types of Light is as much an album as it is a movie by TV on the Radio. The movie is meant to be a visual re-imagining of the record, and includes a music video for every song on the album. Tunde Adebimpe, the director for the full Nine Types of Light movie, storybooked the music videos together with interviews from local New Yorkers on various topics, including dreams, love, fame and the future.

A station platform; 1 take, 7 seconds, 40 volunteers, 500 frames per second. A unit9 production, directed by Henry Cowling for the band SixToes. The action on the station platform in “Low Guns”, took place in just 7 seconds and was shot in slow motion through the window of a passing train. The video came together by creating a facebook group on the bands page asking for volunteers to take part in a music promo shoot, somewhere in West London.

Destroyed, Moby’s forthcoming new album and accompanying book of photography is set for release on May 16th, alongside an exhibition, which will take place at Proud Galleries from 18 May – 19 June. Published by Damiani, the hardback edition of Destroyed is 128 pages and features 55 photographs taken by Moby. All photographs from the book will be on display in the exhibition and are for sale. read more
