American artist Benjamin Phelan lives and works in Brooklyn. “I am working to invent a subconscious cybernetic production technology, manufacturing perceptual devices through systems of malleable forms. Born in Port Arthur, Texas in 1925, Robert Rauschenberg imagined himself first as a minister and later as a pharmacist. It wasn’t until 1947, while in the U.S. Marines that he discovered his aptitude for drawing and his interest in the artistic representation of everyday objects and people. read more

“My work is coloured by my own experience, and my family, themselves heavily intertwined in the coal mining tradition of North West England, and its eventual politically engineered demise, which I witnessed through my early adulthood. My Grandmother was a very strong influence on my life and art. Erick Swenson (born Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, 1972) is an American artist and sculptor living and working in Dallas. Known for his polyurethane resin sculptures of animals often displayed in elaborate dioramas, Swenson’s scenes often involve fabricated animals like deer, sheep, and apes captured frozen in allegorical moments. read more
