Foresaking linearity and coherence, a narrative is conveyed through fleeting glimpses, allowing a subtle landscape of emotion and memory to emerge, its contours defined by thick, soft lines. He Seemed Lovely is the graduation film of director and animator Marie-Margaux Tsakiri-Scanatovits of Kingston University, completed in 2008. Based on real interviews and recordings, this short film is about girls talking about men, sex and relationships on a night out.
