Sons of Studios is a multi disciplinary creative studio in Copenhagen. A collaborative environment consisting of people with various backgrounds, spanning from graphic design, art, fashion, architecture, photography and film.

Adad Hannah is a video artist based in Montreal. Hannah recreates famous pictures as live performances by having people copying the exact poses from the original painting. These videos are normally presented as projections and at first glance appears as photographic stills, but one will soon experience a slight quivering of the models.

Acclaimed filmmaker Spike Jonze premieres his latest work – I’m Here, a 30-minute short film – today at the Sundance Film Festival as part of the first-ever Opening Night’s Shorts Program at the festival. “It was a pretty incredible opportunity,” says Jonze. “They (ABSOLUT) didn’t give me any requirements to make a movie that had anything to do with vodka. They just wanted me to make something that was important to me, and let my imagination take me wherever I wanted. read more

New York based photographer Ryan McGinley has recently directed this short film for Pringle of Scotland’s SS10 collection. Its starring actress Tilda Swinton who is seen running through the woods, a bit of cave-crawling and squeezing through stone windows – all shot near her home in east Inverness.

New York based fine artist Kehinde Wiley are using traditional portrait painting traditions such as glorification, wealth and prestige when depicting his subjects. Wiley received a MFA from Yale University in 2001 and has since then had his work exhibited internationally and is in permanent collections such as: Walker Art Center, Detroit Institute of Arts and Miami Art Museum.
