Olympic portraits create controversy

AFP photographer Joe Klamar’s portraits of Olympic athletes have been called everything from “shoddy,” “appalling,” and “amaturish,” to an embarrassment to the United States Olympic team. The way Joe tells the story on the official AFP website there’s also a dose of serendipity in the way the photos came out.
