Working in a variety of modes and media, including painting, music, social critique and photo-collage, the Houston-based artist Mike Lood is a critic of what he calls the “non-profit art organization gulag, yet his work is represented in the permanent collections of the Dallas Museum of Art, Menil Collection in Houston and the Birmingham Museum of Art.
