While working as a projectionist in a porn cinema in the eighties, Bob Mazzer began photographing on the tube during his daily commute, creating irresistibly joyous pictures alive with humour and humanity.
“Every day, I travelled to Kings Cross and back. Coming home late at night, it was like a party and I felt the tube was mine and I was there to take pictures.”_ Bob Mazzer
Bob Mazzer’s exhibition Underground will open at Howard Griffin Gallery on June 12, 2014. Pre-order the book here.
