We are very pleased to introduce our latest addition to Citylikeyou, Xavi Garcia a Graphic designer from Salamanca, Spain. After studying at Central Saint Martins, London, and with experience in New York City and Barcelona, Xavi now works from his hometown, a medieval city of golden stone located in the mid-West of Spain.

Robert Crumb first began drawing record covers in 1968 when Janis Joplin, a fellow Haight Ashbury denizen, asked him to provide a cover for her album Cheap Thrills. This early collaboration proved so successful that Crumb went on to draw hundreds of record covers for both new artists and largely forgotten masters. Directed by John Heneghan. W.W. Norton & Company recently published Robert Crumb’s complete record cover collection, which is a must-have for any lover of graphics and old-time music.
