Paul Chan – Rohnert Park

Using suburbia as its setting, Rohnert Park is a series of constructed digital photographs exploring the idea of an ‘end-point:’ a vacuum created by a fulfilled narrative. Through this series, photographer Paul Chan wanted to express and mediate a tension within this state: a pervasive, shiftless order, but one that nevertheless reveals its own transience, and with it, a sense of loss.
