I thought I would take an opportunity to show my dearest country Denmark from an unusual perspective – above. These magnificent photographs are shot by Danish photographer Jan Kofod Winther from his little 4 seater Cessna 172 plane. In this very plane he has travelled more than 1 million kilometer across Denmark and greater parts of Europe. read more

Born in Hanamaki, lives and works in Sendai, Japan. Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music with a degree in M.A. from Sculpture in 1999. Takehito Shiina is known for his Kazan-Yaki (Magma Firings): sculptural work series which he created on location at various volcanoes around the world. In the project, Shiina fired his handmade clay figures and made them into terra-cotta sculptures with the heat of magma near the active volcanoes in Hawaii, Italy and Japan. read more

Alex Diamond presents his latest series of works, a project study titled “Being Alex Diamond” at the Heliumcowboy Gallery in Hamburg. Photography blends with painting and drawing, and the mask has moved into the center of attention. The series consists of approximately 40 photopaintings. Other new works include drawings … and lots of tentacles.
