Louise Zergaeng Pomeroy lives and works as an illustrator in London. Since graduating in 2008 from Kingston University Illustration, she has been awarded a D&AD Best Newblood for her book of illustrated short stories I married a Toyboy Convict.

Zoë Taylor is an artist/illustrator based in London. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2009, she has been commissioned by Luella Bartley, AnOther Magazine, London Fashion Week’s The Daily and Syntax Editions among others. Her work has also featured in publications such as Le Gun, Bare Bones, Ambit, Naked Punch and Dazed & Confused.

Robert Crumb first began drawing record covers in 1968 when Janis Joplin, a fellow Haight Ashbury denizen, asked him to provide a cover for her album Cheap Thrills. This early collaboration proved so successful that Crumb went on to draw hundreds of record covers for both new artists and largely forgotten masters. Directed by John Heneghan. W.W. Norton & Company recently published Robert Crumb’s complete record cover collection, which is a must-have for any lover of graphics and old-time music.

The One Minute portraits is a project of quick, small and colorful portraits done within a minute. It is in opposition of the common notion of traditional portraiture (size, long process, posing…). The working frame given by the timing leads to an almost semi-abstract representation, people become patches of colors and yet look like themselves.
