This is a kinetic sculpture and advanced VJing machine. It produces images and reveals the production at the same time. It is a media facade installation and a comment on Villém Flussers techno-images. It was created in 2009 in the classes “Narrative Architecture” in Potsdam University of Applied Sciences / Germany.

Recently gaining recongnition as one of 15 creatives who will define the future of arts in Britain by the Independent. Alex Turvey is a director, designer and illustrator with an eclectic oeuvre of projects ranging from music videos to illustrated charity cereal boxes.

Jeffery Noyes Scher was born in 1954 and graduated from Bard College in 1976. He has since then made well over one hundred films, mixing both painting, typography, graphic elements and film to create beautifully vibrant and emotionally charged works.

Nations

Nations is a grand-scale installation by Indian artist NS Harsha, exhibited for the first time in Europe at Rivington Place. It questions international politics and globalisation combining serious discussion with visual wit. 192 sewing machines are overlaid with calico painted flags signifying the countries that make up the United Nations.

Major Lazer “Pon De Floor”

Major Lazer is made up of DJs Diplo and Switch, the two were introduced after working with M.I.A. The track Pon De Floor for Major Lazer was directed by Eric Wareheim from comedy duo Tim & Eric and edited and animated by fatalfarm. Jojo in the Stars

This is 4 years old but definitely worth watching again. “Jojo in the Stars” is an amazing animated short film directed by Marc Craste of Studio AKA. Winner of a BAFTA for best animated short in 2004.
