2 Birds takes place during one bright summer night and follows a group of young teenagers on a journey from innocence to adulthood. The main character is a timid boy who has a typical schoolboy crush on a girl his age, who happens to be a friend of his mate. 2 Birds is the second film of Rúnar Runarsson’s Crossroad trilogy. Fridrik Thor Fridriksson’s Erotic Tale On Top Down Under it’s set on different continents, on opposite corners of the world (Australia and Iceland) – yet linked by real time and parallel occurrences that almost impinge on each other. Thus, words would only disturb. Quite simply, the story has to be told by challenging the viewer to accept the logic of coincidence and suspending for a moment the natural laws of the universe.
