Last month the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) has banned a campaign by the retailer American Apparel for using a partially nude model, who appeared to be under 16, in a series of images that suggested she was “stripping off for an amateur-style photo shoot”. read more

Byzantium futuristic goddesses were during London Fashion Week to be found at young label Qasimi’s show. This collection celebrated the re-brand of the company with a daring and dazzling selection of architectural cut dresses which meticulously had been covered with patterns of sparkling crystals. The knife sharp shoulders were softened by the appearance of beautiful draped dresses in pale palettes. read more

The collection was presented in the underground layers of Somerset House, what normally would be a sombre setting was boosted with vivid colours and pumping beats. Nasir Mazhar is also the creator of singer Lady Gagas hats. read more
