Kevin Haas grew up in the rust belt of the Midwest, inspired by the abandoned industrial areas of St Louis, Chicago, Gary and Indianapolis. He earned his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a MFA from Indiana University where he studied printmaking and digital media. read more

The Perfect Human is a 1967 short film by Jørgen Leth lasting 13 minutes. It depicts a man and a woman, both labelled ‘the perfect human’ in a detached manner, “functioning” in a white boundless room, as though they were subjects in a zoo. The film was later seen in five different versions when Leth was challenged by filmmaker Lars von Trier which was compiled in ‘The Five Obstructions’. read more

Los Angeles-based artist Eric Yahnker seems to have a very odd and dark sense of humour which is reflected in almost all of his works of art. His mixed media and collage masterpieces combine traditional and classic images with some twisted humor and caustic wit. read more

Slavs and Tatars is a faction of polemics and intimacies devoted to an area east of the former Berlin Wall and west of the Great Wall of China known as Eurasia. The collective’s work spans several media, disciplines, and a broad spectrum of cultural registers (high and low) focusing on an oft-forgotten sphere of influence between Slavs, Caucasians and Central Asians. Michael Krueger is a father, an artist and a teacher. He was born on January 5, 1967 in Kenosha Wisconsin. His family moved to South Dakota in 1970 and he spent his childhood years in Sioux Falls. These formative years in the West cultivated a fondness and curiosity for the history of Westward Expansion and the epic struggles that were cast on the Great Plains. read more

German/Portuguese artist Catarina Leitão graduated in 1999 with an MFA in Fine Arts from Hunter College in New York and has since spend her time working between Lisbon and New York – Catarina does lovely watercolour and ink illustrations. read more
