Dan Perkins, who writes and draws the political cartoon “This Modern World” under the name Tom Tomorrow has designed the recent album cover for Pearl Jam’s “Backspacer”. He called his friend from Pearl Jam Eddie Vedder when Village Voice Media, the chain of alternative weekly newspapers, was dropping all syndicated cartoons as a cost-cutting measure, and Mr. Perkins lost 12 papers at once. Luckily Eddie Vedder came to his rescue.

Inspired to Gogols short story entitled The Nose from the Petersburg tales, Yi Zhou have written her latest short film about the absurd story of the loss of an ear. The ear is actually the key element of the film, shot in RED and partly to be made in 3d animation. Music by the great Ennio Morricone.

The new RÖYKSOPP music video is a semi-biblical story that takes place in an all nude utopic hippy-world. Directed by acclaimed Swedish directors Andreas & Filip Nilsson, the single also features the ever-amazing vocals of Karin Dreijer Andersson (The Knife, Fever Ray).
