Bentley has recently teamed up with the vehicle design course at the Royal College of Art where the second year students objective were to explore a new aerodynamic design direction for the luxury marque. Shown here is German David Seesing’s proposal. A winner will be announced on 4 February and will spend six months working at Bentley. Full feature and more images available from Wallpaper.

‘The Entente’ is a Brighton, UK based design and art direction studio formed by Anthony Sheret & Edd Harrington in late 2008. The studio also runs an independent type foundry ‘Colophon-Foundry’.

The always solid Marc Craste directed this advertising spot for BBC’s coverage of the upcoming Winter Olympics in Vancouver and with LA based illustrator Jon Klassen helping out with the illustrations this is a true marvelous animation to watch.

Chris Ofili’s intensely coloured and intricately ornamented paintings are on show at Tate Britain in a major survey of the artist’s career that brings together over 45 paintings, as well as pencil drawings and watercolours from the mid 1990s to today. One of the most acclaimed British painters of his generation, Ofili won the Turner Prize in 1998 and represented Great Britain at the 50th Venice Biennale in 2003.
Exhibition runs from 27 January – 16 May 2010. Tate Britain

Hansje Van Halem is a graphic designer who lives and works in Amsterdam where she also graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2003 with a BA in graphic design. I have always been fascinated by her use of geometric patterns, pen illustrations in combination with skills of traditional Dutch graphic design craftsmanship, a favorite of mine are the business stamps Halem did for TNT in 2007. read more
