Frédéric Poincelet

French artist Frédéric Poincelet worked as a graphic artist for ten years before turning to comics. With already some underground publications to his credit, he joined the publishing house Ego Comme X in 1998. There, he created such comics as ‘Une Relecture’, the ‘Le Périodique’ series and ‘Essai de Sentimentalisme’ (in cooperation with Loïc Néhou).

2010 Pulitzer Price

This years winners of the prestigious Pulitzer prices were announced last night in New York. Mary Chind of The Des Moines Register was awarded the price for Breaking News Photography for her photograph of the heart-stopping moment when a rescuer dangling in a makeshift harness tries to save a woman trapped in the foaming water beneath a dam. In the Company of

The single channel video In the Company of depicts a 5-a-side football game, which was played on railway tracks in Moscou, Gent.The players included immigrants to Belgium who originally came from different parts of the world as well as other European countries. The 10-channel audio which completes this installation provides the personal aural experience of each of the 10 players. Directed by Simon Gush.
