Japan is an animation by 24 year old Kenichi from Nagoya. “My objective is to make Japanese people to think about that everything happening here in Japan, isn’t that normal. So I created this video from foreigner’s point of view, rather than Japanese people’s point of view. By the way, please don’t call me racist, because I am one of short, small eyes Japanese.”

Nicolai Howalt was born in 1970 in Copenhagen and graduated from Denmark’s Photographic Art School Fatamorgana in 1992. Nicolai Howalt’s work has documentary references, operating at the intersection of conceptual photography and installation.

Russell Patterson (December 26, 1893 – March 17, 1977) was a celebrated and prolific American cartoonist, illustrator and scenic designer. Patterson’s art deco magazine illustrations helped promote the idea of the 1920s and 1930s fashion style known as the flapper. Patterson was born in Omaha, Nebraska. Although he claimed he knew at age 17 that he wanted to be a magazine cover artist, he took a circuitous route to his ultimate success in that field. read more
