Noemi Schipfer graduated from the graphic design highschool Estienne in Paris. As an illustrator she published her first children’s book last january and the second one will be release in the end of august. She also make illustration for magazine and book covers, and she experiment with video too, she directed her first feature length last summer. Venice Biennale – 54th International Art Exhibition

The 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale will take place in June 2011, directed by the art historian and critic Bice Curige. Bice Curiger is an art historian, critic and curator of international exhibitions. Her curatorial activity at Kunsthaus Zurich parallels her important work in the publishing sector. read more

Our Mixtape for June has been compiled by Brooklyn based Mexican hyperrealist artist Victor Rodriguez. Rodriguez employs references from advertising posters to fashion and art within his large-scale paintings which has been exhibited extensively internationally, including the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, the Flint Institute of Contemporary Arts and the Museo de Monterrey in Mexico. read more
