Six photographers. Six rolls of film. Six days. Photographers James Pearson-Howes, Max Knight, Jake Dow-Smith, Jess Gough, Paul Phung & Lewis Chaplin were each given a 36-exposure roll of 35mm film which they had 6 days to shoot. Each film was then returned back to the Holy Ghost team who developed the films on their behalf with the resulting pictures being exhibited for 6 days. read more

The best Old-fashioned cocktails ever! Hands down. These mixologists know what they’re doing. This place is also famous for their french-dipped sandwiches. And oh yes, not to forget about the pickled eggs. Cole’s bar in Los Angeles recommended by Dutch photographer Gijs van der Most. See all of Gijs recommendations here.

Everything is a Remix Part 4

Posted by Fabio 28 February 2012

Our system of law doesn’t acknowledge the derivative nature of creativity. Instead, ideas are regarded as property, as unique and original lots with distinct boundaries. But ideas aren’t so tidy. They’re layered, they’re interwoven, they’re tangled. And when the system conflicts with the reality… the system starts to fail. Everything is a Remix is produced by Kirby Ferguson, a New York-based filmmaker.

The Death of Youth

Posted by Fabio 28 February 2012

“This project stems from the idea that when a man turns thirty, he reaches a threshold where the possibility of fulfilling youthful fantasies ceases to exist. I have aspired to create a project that not only exemplifies the desires I had as a young man, but also illustrates the desires of a man transitioning into a new life period. In this sense, this series documents a lifestyle that I yearned for as a younger man, and one that I possibly still crave.” Giovanni Lipari – www.thedeathofyouth.com
