The fraught relationship between a lonely boy and his mother comes to a head one night in their home that has become a prison to them both. Directed by Los Angeles based writer and director, Reed Van Dyk.
Reed Van Dyk short film DEKALB ELEMENTARY was a 2018 Oscar Nominee for Best Live Action Short Film. The film won prizes from festivals around the world, including SXSW and Clermont Ferrand. His most recent film INTERIØR premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. Reed got his start as an actor in New York doing Broadway and off-Broadway theatre — he has a BA in Theater Arts from Cornell University and an MFA in Film Directing from UCLA. He was the recipient of a Princess Grace Award last year.
