Patrick Carpentier

Patrick Carpentier was born in Brussels March 22th, 1966. Educated with a theatrical background based on the Jacques Lecoq method at Kleine Academy in Brussels. He worked on a dozen theatre productions during the 1990s as an actor, scenographer and/or director. 
Since 1997 he has worked with various musicians as a scenographer, director, visual artist and video-maker. Since 2002 he has been focusing on filmmaking and photographs.
In February 2009, he started reading the last statements of the executed offenders in the state of Texas. These 447 statements are dated between 1982 and the present.
