NURIA RIUS

It all started when Nuria Rius was fourteen years old in her mum’s butcher’s shop. She started her professional career there, doing the best burgers at the Market, a job that she combined with her studies in Arts. After finishing these shs decided to study Photography for four years at the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya, (BCN). In 2002 she won a prize, Lux Junior from the APF ‘Bailando’ project. She took part in some personals and group exhibitions. In 2005 she was selected at ‘Descubrimientos’ Photoespaña ’05 with the project ‘Contigo aprendí’. She is currently working as a freelance photographer in london.
