Nieves Mingueza

Nieves Mingueza collects the materials for her collages from vintage photographs, old cinema magazines, antique papers and encyclopedias. Her inspiration comes from the Victorian Age, silent films and artists like Joseph Cornell, Julia Margaret Cameron, Constant Puyo, Guy Maddin, Grete Stern, Toyen, Max Ernst, Paul Nougé and many Surrealist ones. She currently lives in Granada, in southern Spain.
