Posted by Fabio 17 November 2009

I am very pleased to announce that our new monthly Mixtape comes from acclaimed artist and film director Joji Koyama. Joji is also known by the alias Woof Wan-Bau when directing music videos.

Joji Koyama is an award winning filmmaker, animator and graphic artist. He is the director of the short films ‘From Nose to Mouth’ , ‘Watermelon Love’ and most recently ‘First Place’.
This year he collaborated with experimental theatre company Rotozaza for the highly acclaimed show ‘GuruGuru’. He music video credits include work for Four tet, Mogwai and Coldcut. He lives and works in London.

“I’ve been working on a lot of drawings this year, and I listen to a lot of music when i’m drawing, so i guess that’s where the slight theme comes from.”
