German sculptor Klaus Staudt, born 1932, works primarily with wood and acrylic paint, with these two simple materials he creates these wonderful 3 dimensional wall installations. Staudt has also created larger freestanding sculptures for corporate institutions, churches etc. read more

“I grew up in an artistic household and frankly can’t remember a time when I didn’t have some sort of drawing tool in my hand. But until my late teens, dance and choreography were my preferred forms of expression. After a long illness, Cuban artist José Garcia Montebravo died last friday the 16th of July at home in the town of Cienfuegos. Many of his paintings depict birds, animals and the lush Cuban plant life but with a strength which suggests an allegorical or religious symbolism as well. He has exhibited individually and collectively, in Europe and the United States as well as in Cuba. read more
