Troy Dugas work is made from product labels he purchase in unused bundles. He cut and arrange this material onto flat surfaces (paper, canvas, or wood) to produce artworks that appear woven. He use repetition and pattern to distract from the original purpose of the label to sell a product. The artwork itself is the only product left to sell.

My influences come from other photographers (Luigi Ghirri in particular, but also Joel Sternfeld, Alexander Gronsky, Tarkovsky’s Polaroids and many many others – I really like to discover new photographers surfing on online blogs and magazines ), music (rock’n’roll, punk-rock, blues), movies, writers (in this moment Calvino and Buzzati), politics sometimes, travels and cities where I lived, states of mind. read more

Andrew B. Myers is a photographer and digital image maker that resides in Toronto. His colorful and detailed pictures are very carefully crafted, with an approach that always plays with both analog as well as digital techniques to achieve a certain look and sensibility. Kirsten Justesen’s is educated as a classic sculpturer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1975. Her activities comprise a wide range of genres, from body art and performance art to sculptures and installation. Justesen was part of the avant-garde scene of the 1960s, where she became a pioneering figure within the three-dimensional modes of art that incorporate the artist’s own body as artistic material.
