mio karo

mio karo is a project by Carolina Melis, creative director of the brand. Carolina comes from a background in film, design and animation and first came across the world of weaving with the short animated film Le fiamme di Nule.
The mio karo collection includes rugs, wallhanging and cushions, all produced with a particular care to technique and details. mio karo only uses the finest materials such as wool from local sheep, silk and cotton. colours can be naturally dyed on request.
Each piece is made to order and numbered. A bespoken service is also available.
A wider collection is currently in preparation due to be launched in Fall 2013.
