FILE Magazine Issue 2. 124 pages and over 3 hours of short films, documentaries and music videos on DVD.

FILE Magazine is a bi-annual publication featuring a broad selection of visual communication in the fields of graphic design, art, photography, fashion and moving image. Beautifully presented in a 30 x 39 cm hard cover with a full colour 52 gsm newsprint stitched inside. Each issue is accompanied by a DVD featuring short films, music videos and documentaries. A magazine to Watch & Read.

Brigitte Bardot and The Original Paparazzi
Rarely seen vintage photographs of one of the great fashion icons of the twentieth century, taken by some of the most famous paparazzi photographers of the 1960s. It shows how Bardot and the paparazzi created a whole new image of womanhood, female sexuality and youth fashion.

Confessions, Explanations, Apologies
A 30 minute filmed lecture with acclaimed Graphic Design and writer Richard Hollis, about his life obsession with paper and folding.

Freedom on the Fence
A 40 minute film documentary about the history of Polish posters and their significance to the social, political and cultural life of Poland.

Lines in Space
An interview with american artist Arthur Ganson, plus an 18 minutes film selection of some of his most wonderful and peculiar machines.

Jade
A 15 minute short film directed by Daniel Elliott. ‘JADE’ premiered in Competition at 59th Berlinale International Film Festival 2009 where it was awarded the Silver Bear. It has since received many more awards including the Jury Prize at Odense International Film Festival.

After Tomorrow
Another amazing 16 minute short film directed by Emma Sullivan, winner of the ‘Best British Short Film’ award at this year’s Edinburgh Film Festival. After Tomorrow was also nominated for a Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
