I was out for a walk this weekend up Regents Canal in London and came across this lovely piece of painted signage “RONS EEL AND SHELL FISH”. My friend and I thought for a second we were undertaking a test at an eye specialist with those lovely spaced letters.

Our latest feature is an interview with graphic design studio NODE. In 2003 Anders Hofgaaard and Serge Rompza founded NODE and was in 2006 joined by Vladimir Llovet Casademont, the three of them studied graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. read more
Hollis Brown Thornton

Hollis Brown Thornton was born and raised in Aiken, SC. He received his BFA from the University of South Carolina in 1999. In 2001, he moved to Chicago. He lived there for four years, working as gallery director of Mongerson Galleries and installation assistant at Russell Bowman Art Advisory. He returned to Aiken in 2005, where he continues to live and work in a warehouse studio. read more

Nalini ‘Deedee’ Cheriel is a visual artist who started out creating record covers and T-shirts for the Oregon music scene in the early ’90s. Born in the hippie town of Eugene, Oregon, she began her own band and record label at the age of 19. read more
