Helen Cammock – winner of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women.

Iwona Blazwick, Director of the Whitechapel Gallery announced Helen Cammock as the seventh winner of the prize at a ceremony at the Whitechapel Gallery on 16 April 2018. Cammock was selected from a shortlist of artists including Emma Hart, Ruth Ewan, Ana Genovés, Tania Kovats and Phoebe Unwin.
The Max Mara Art Prize for Women is a collaboration between Max Mara, Whitechapel Gallery and Collezione Maramotti. Established in 2005, the aim of the Prize is to promote and support UK-based female artists.
