Riga / Restaurant

Most amazing Kebab place of all times. The food is delicious, it is not expensive at all, portions are super big and the cucumber sauce is really awesome.

Mannheim / Bar

A great place with a wonderful view over the roofs of Mannheim. There is also a terrace, which is a perfect place to stop for dinner or some drinks after visiting the "Planken".

New York / Shop

Prints, artist editions and various printed ephemera to buy and to look at. A wonderful place.

Sydney / Library

With heaps of curves, greenery and natural light, this library is super conducive to working and learning — plus there's a secret slippery slide for kids that goes through the middle of the building, just for fun

Tenerife / Area

A protected area on the north-east of the island where you can find a very old rainforest at the top and some beaches at the bottom. This difference between the vegetation, the weather and the landscape from one area to the other one makes it a very interesting place for hiking, and there are many routes for that. The mood in the forest during misty days (the clouds collide against this part of the island) is just magical. The picture was taken while hiking around the top and those colors are because of clays made of different compositions.

Munich / Museum

Living here in Munich, i could sense how the BMW industry has a massive impact on the region (regarding that third of the people i met are studying or have a job linked to cars or machine-industry). By curiosity for this atypical fact, i forced my visit to the “BMW World”, which combines a museum, a platform for clients and sort of a touristic center hold by the group. As I could imagine it is all extremely overdone and slick, but once you got over that, I really enjoyed my visit. It is such a fascinating world. Before that I haven’t quite realised how much this industry is the future.The technologies, the materials, the quality, everything is such more advanced. The best thing to look at is for me the crazy LED-lighthouses. For the first time i thought that the yellow bulb was definitely old school.

Brighton / Restaurant

This is Marrocos Restaurant on the seafront towards Hove. It's a well kept secret by most Brightonian's. We dont like to share it as its small and precious. Besides great Pizza and Pasta and also incredible Seafood they make the very best Ice Cream in Brighton. I take my kids after school as the queues are crazy at the weekends. Try the Rum and Raisin....... or the Hazelnut.

Sydney / Shop

I love the effortless elegance of Alistair Trung's trans-seasonal, trans-occasional, trans-age, trans-size and trans-gender pieces. And his stores are always artistically presented and inspiring to be in, with bits of collected wood, bones, feathers and other found natural beauties

London / Park

A peaceful park in Kingston Upon Thames. You can see lovely houses and gardens across the river. It's a wonderful place where you can take a rest with your family or friends. I recommend you to take a walk after having lunch or dinner in riverside restaurants near to the park. It's not big, however, very enough to feel the beauty of nature. I've done some location drawings here which was quite exciting. Just seat on a bench and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere.

Ho Chi Minh City / Cafe

A charming little spot in Saigon's District 1. The vintage interior and the cool kids that come here, sets the atmosphere. Get inside to get a Vietnamese coffee, or have a seat outside by the evening pop up shop to try a Chinese chà (a bit weird but sweet and very delicious dessert). I really don't know what you're waiting for...

Ayvalık / Village

This is a beautiful authentic hotel in Ayvalik, on Aegean side of Turkey. Ayvalik has its own charm with its original architecture, tasty olive oil, olives, various types of amazing cheese, beautiful refreshing aegean sea, lovely small fish restaurants with different types of unique mezes... get lost in the narrow streets of this town city and be ready to get confused about time.

Ariel Di Lisio is a graphic & type designer from Argentina who specializes in branding and typography. His devotion to the profession has taken him to different countries around the world, where he has given lectures and directed workshops about design and typography on local universities and congresses.
