The Museum of Cycladic Art is a museum in Athens, Greece, dedicated to the art and culture of the Cycladic Islands in the Aegean Sea. A good flat white is hard to find but this is one place in NYC that has coffee that tastes like it does back in New Zealand.

Tiny traditional restaurant with no reservations. Delicious traditional Milanese food, all cooked in their tiny kitchen. Always a queue so arrive early!

SOAS university has a small gallery space dedicated to exhibitions about Asia, Africa and the Middle East. There's a small but beautiful Japanese zen garden on the rooftop (currently closed for refurbishment)

The Everleigh is a sumptuous bar hidden above a busy shopping street. A perfect place to share a leather booth with friends, while drinking gin cocktails from old-fashioned crystal glasses.
