Mobtown Ballroom is a lindy hop club in Pigtown, Baltimore. They host swing nights every Friday, often with live bands (though this has been somewhat diminished thanks to the pandemic). Searching for a place to slow down and breathe in the bustling centre of Barcelona may be challenging, but Bar Cugat provides a solution: a timeless bar situated in Eixample, with an elegant yet low-key atmosphere. While originally stopping in for a quick coffee, we found ourselves returning an hour later for a wonderful dinner. The clean yet eclectic interior (with an Art Nouveau poster to boot) is a great place to dine, any day of the week. Recommendations: classic tapas + vermut.

Ken Hermann is a Danish photographer who works in the fields of portrait, editorial - and commercial photography. An urge to explore photography and different cultures has brought Ken around the world, from secluded regions of India and Ethiopia to the big city landscapes of New York where he has worked for renowned photographers like Brigitte Lacombe and Asger Carlsen. The life in the cities as well as in the more abandon places is a big inspirational source to Ken Hermann and he loves to combine his commercial work with his other true passion- to explore life, people, and cultures. His work has been published by a number of magazines and websites and he is a finalist of this years Hasselblad Masters with his ‘city surfer’ project which is being exhibited in LA, London, New York and Berlin. Based in Copenhagen he works for a diverse range of clients amongst those leading brands, media and agencies.

Louisa is the founder of Luminous Books in East London, an artist curated bookshop specializing in second hand fiction, philosophy, art and curiosities. Luminous also stocks a range of artists’ books, limited run zines and hosts regular literary events, combining music, films and readings alongside pop up projects throughout the city and two Luminous collections at the ICA Bookshop SW1 and Andor Bureau E8. Louisa studied Fine Art Sculpture at Brighton University before moving to London working in both new and antiquarian bookshops including Foyles and as Book Buyer for the ICA Bookshop. Luminous is a specialized bookshop full of personal preoccupations, a love of the object of the book, printed matter and of visual thinking.
