For wine purchasing a good place is Rosforth & Rosforth. Even better is the location, under the knippelsbro bridge, very hidden. Also nice for their professionally pleasant service and knowledge. And also for the interior.

One of my favourite places about 20 kilometers from Krakow – found intuitively. There is a golden lane (autumn time) that leads to a magnificent, differential forest. Niterói is located just in front of Rio de Janeiro, on the other side of Guanabara bay. The city hosts most of Niemeyer's architectural masterpieces. Among them, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Niterói, which curves are typical of the architect's work. Apart from visiting the contemporary art exhibitions and admiring the architecture of the place, you can also enjoy a breathtaking view over Rio de Janeiro.

The graphic designer Rudolph de Harak created a three-story digital clock installed on the exterior of 200 Water Street. The clock consists of 72 square modules with numerals that light according to date, hour, minute and second.

They describe themseleves as a 'village shop in the City' and sell everything 'typically english' you could dream of, from homemade scotch eggs to english meade, this tiny shop is the reason I cross the road early every morning, just to see what treats they've got in for the day.

What’s not to like about The Sammlung Boros Collection? It’s a brilliant private collection of contemporary art held captive in a monstrous, symmetrical ex-Nazi bunker with two metre thick concrete walls, dominating an area of a thousand metres squared. It also doubled as a hardcore techno and fetish club in the ‘90s, of which traces linger in every corner.

The Brera Gallery was officially established in 1809, even though a first heterogeneous collection with educational purpose existed already from 1776 – and then increased in the following years – alongside the Accademia di Belle Arti, requested by Mary Therese of Austria to offer the students the opportunity to study lofty masterpieces of art close up. Brera become a museum to host the most important works of art from all of the areas conquered by the French armies. So unlike other important museums in Italy such as the Uffizi, Brera did not start out life as the private collection of a prince or nobleman but as the product of a deliberate policy decision. Paintings confiscated from churches and convents throughout Lombardy with the religious orders’ dissolution began to pour into the museum in the early years of the 19th century, soon to be joined by artworks of similar provenance from other areas of the Kingdom of Italy. This explains why the collection comprises chiefly religious works, many of them large altarpieces, and accounts for Brera’s special aura on which later acquisitions have had only a minor impact.
